Rehabilitation and Assessment Unit

We aim to provide a holistic multidisciplinary approach to meet the rehab goals we have jointly identified. We offer excellent evidence-based one to one therapy input and group participation in the following exercise classes: • Otago Strength and Balance Classes • Neurological Class • Upper Limb Class • Parkinson's Classes We link in closely with community services for signposting and onward referral to promote self directed management following discharge from the unit

About the service
How to refer into the service
- Adult, multidisciplinary service
- All conditions, but patients need to be able to weight bear
- Patients must be referred in writing from a health professional, not self directed and can be for one discipline only
- Self transport preferable, but West Midlands hospital transport available if criteria met
- Clear achievable and realistic goals to be completed in a timely manner
